If Im not mistaken, I think Arnold procalmed it on the same day as Waitaingi Day... hope the New Zealanders are not too upset...

Not really in too much of a writing mood right now, but I thought that I might mention my visit to the taxman... This year I was expecting a better refund, due to my actualy WORKING this year... but I almost came close to having to pay around 300... blah.... I ended up getting a refund of 200 something from the federal goverment, and oweing state about 25.00... A few years ago, that would have been the jackpot... its sad that now with expenses being what they are that 200 is now chump change...

ah well... guess Ill have to postpone my carribean vacation for another year...

If Im not mistaken, Waitaingi Day is a New Zealand holiday that celebrates the signing of a treaty with the native Waitangi tribe that allowed for the settlement and establishment of New Zealand as a british colony, kinda like their version of the fourth of july

It does have a funny name though.... its kinda fun to say actualy... waitangi...lol
