Ok, quick updates...
Last night my work group went out to a comedy club just down the street... known as the looney bin... not a bad place really, a little rough around the edges true, but still a decent place that has had its share of big namers, such as Tommy Chong, Dave Attell, Brett Butler, The Sandman, etc... as well as local favorites and ametures... But it was fun to go out and have a fun time, and plus it felt good to go out with people I would normaly work with and not have to edit myself for a work-appropriate enviroment... as well as helping build my social circle and becoming less reclusive... it would be great to do again...
Work has been slow, thankfully... My quality rankings are back up where they ought to be again (FINALY), plus Ive now bought a small speaker set for my discman, so I can have some background music while Im working, which does take the edge off and makes the day go by faster...
Im thinking about heading out to Kirby's once again this monday... I have a friend at work who has been wanting to check it out, plus my cousin is wanting to check out the scene as well.... It would be nice to see everyone again, especialy now since that Marcus' place has gone under again, this time apparantly for good... And also to let people know Im still alive. Its been too long since Ive made an official public appearance...
I think I may be moving into the house on the north end... 600 a month, plus my mom's even willing to give me a rent free if I help fix it up. Also, I am going to be free to decorate as I please... and its a BEAUTIFUL house with GREAT potential... its just in a bit of a shady neighborhood, and I do not have a solid roomate yet. But I think I may go for it. It is a pretty good deal, all things considered... I was wanting to move into my grandmother's old house though... it is more expensive, I would not be free to decorate, its not as large, but it is in a safer neighborhood. Plus, I do feel something of an obligation to live there... I feel its better to have family living there rather than some stranger... I DO have to do something to pull my weight... I may still be the black sheep, but lately, Ive been feeling tighter familiar connections... I still have no desire to have anything even remotely resembling the Waltons, but it would be nice to know that I have a place in there, even if it is a distant one...
But it WILL be on my terms though...
Want to be my housemate? Now accepting applications. the 600/month rent will be split equally, as well as utility bills- buy your own food, maintain your own space/room, plus Ill pay a greater precentage of the rent if you are willing to do yardwork... seriously... Inquire within
