dustinprewittI got ride in a cop car this past week! Actualy, to be more accurate, I got to drive a cop car, or, to be even more accurate, I got to drive a used cop car...
I was visiting wichita, to pick up some more boxes and visit some people... When I stopped by to visit my grandmother for some birthday cake... only to find out that, on an impulse buy, bought me a 2001 Chevy Impala car that was originaly a Wichita Police Department car... lol you can even see the decal shadow where it says Wichita Police- unfortunatly though they took out the backseat cage, as well as the antanneas and sirens... but still- its soooo nice to drive something older than 1990 for once... that actualy accelerates... Im still in shock over the whole thing.... Ill have some pics of it soon.... but yeah, it was definitly a surprise... now all I have to do is transfer the CD player, insurance, and find out just where the hell the deed from the old car was and find out where the hell my tag renewal is supposed to be (still havnt recieved it yet)

While I was in town, I stopped by Ricki Dees to watch Sunset BLVD (which is one of the most AWESOME films ever.... ahead of its time then, and still ahead of the times now)... the next evening, I got to hung out with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sugarcomakat and josh- for some mini golf, but unfortunatly they were about 30 mins from closing, so no golf for usI tried out for the 1st time Dance Dance Revolution (or something like that... I think it was a generic knock off of the game)... definitly not my game- the music is fun to listen to, but gah! I am just not in good enough shape or coordination for the game... Its just aerobics, foos!!! Then we got to punch duckies, and she got me a plasic sherrif badge and a plastic friendship bracelet (that was a little small for me anyways)... then we went for freddies frozen custard, which is some of the best icecream ever... localy founded, but just like Pizza Hut, White Castle, Cesnea, once it takes off, it will be out of wichita in no time....
On the way home, I heard this song on the radio... it was on wichita station 107.3 The Road- it was about 2:30ish, right after Led Zepplin's Rock and Roll,.... I have no idea the artist or the song title, but I do remember that the lyrics had the words "hungry" and "Solution" at the end of two setences.... Ive been looking for that song title for the longest time.... and I hate having a song stuck in the head and not knowing the name/title/etc.... its so hard to ask about too.... its not like I can accurately describe it to someone, is it? Ah well, if anyone has any freaking clue as to what Im referencing, lemme know....
Had to lock up the cat in her little room while I was gone for the past 3 days since the maintaince folks need to do maintance work in the room... and when I got back, boy was she pissed- her voice actualy seemed hoarse from yelling the whole time... poor, stubborn cat.... I was so worried about her.... guess the apartment folks found out too... at least they're giving me 14 days to get the deposit sorted out... but still, I feel so terrible about not doing it sooner....
So lets see.... Still have some money to budget, got the Sliders v.2 DVD, got the new Ladytron CD, The New Franz Ferdinand CD, Star Trek Nemesis Special Edition, my mom leant me Hotel Rawanda, Sideways, and a Bob Hope/Bing Crosby 2-movie DVD set to watch...and I still have the 1st season of Taxi to watch....
The its 4 more days of work.... Hopefully, it will be better this week....

stupid creatures... I hate the fact that they do these things to hurt themselves, not knowning that they shouldnt, and there's nothing you can do to help them or change them....
Ah yes, and I did check the seats and glove box of the car.... no firearms, drugs, money, contraband or other surprises found.... *sigh*
