Hundreds of thousands of indo-asians die in earthquake related floods, and on the other side of the world, wichita kansas has springtime in december...

mmm.... Its more of an irony thing.... I just see it as what is, is... nature happens, and happens indiscriminantly... I just find it odd that an earthquake can cause ruin in one part of the world, and niceness in another... might as well enjoy it...

I was suprised the estimated death toll went from 10,000 to 100,000

yeah... but when you think about it... those are some pretty densely populated areas of the world... I think a death toll in terms of percentages of the population would be more fitting....

the only numbers/tolls they gave were 3 or 4 million "survivors" and over 1/3 of them were children

well... you know what they say... the death of one is a tragedy, the death of millions is just a statistic...

I've been having nightmares of gynormus tidal waves much like what happened in Asia for months now, but I've never even thought about it in depth. It's interesting in an anti-social, misanthropic sorta way..

When I'm back in Wichita we should get together sometime, I need some people to get out with or I might become a corporate zombie dispatched to debug all non-consumerists residing in my jurisdiction as a telemarketer or retail sales monkey.

Please save me? Haha.
