Woke up about 11:00ish... did my routine email checking, plugged in to the N64 for about an hour or so... my housemate had to turn off the electricity for some wiring work, so I went to the southside, picked up a copy of Badder Santa for the Holidays, and I finaly found a copy of Cocteau Twin's Victorialand AND Iggy Pop's Blah Blah Blah, all at the same place, and all for under 7 bucks (and it was one of those buy 3 get one free type things)... then stopped by a game shop to see if there were any used copies of Metroid Prime 2 available, which of course there were not... then stopped by the flea market across the way... found some moderatly good deals on some comic books, plus 2 half price graphic novels (Alan Moore's Swamp Thing and Mike Mignola's Hellboy)... went home, did some more computer work, plugged in some more hours to N64 (Paper Mario BTW), watched Justice League Unlimited, which by the way I was pleasantly surprised to find that episode written by Warren Ellis (which can be found on LJ at [livejournal.com profile] wef)... if you like Grant Morrison kids, then you like Warren Ellis... or not... sci-fi like Grant Morrison, except less surreal and more like John Wu type films... anyway.... then went with the people I worked with to a bowling alley... I felt like a stranger in a strange land... not their fault of course... but all the lights, all the pop music, all the loud bowling... made me feel awkwardly out of place... but as I settled in and put a drink in my system, I began to settle into my niche... as an observer, as if I was watching a TV show....

society, at best, is a museum/gallary... at worst, its a zoo. I observe. nothing more, nothing less. thats my place, and I have little or no reason to deviate from it.

Some extremely drunk and very normal girl who I had no idea who she was, didnt want me to leave... babbled something about me wanting head, and said I had nice teeth, and told me to stay put... then she wandered off somewhere, then I left. And now I am here....

here is something I was thinking off as I was watching people... 12 hours on a clock... 12 months in a year... 360 days in a year, 60 minutes in an hour, 4 weeks in a month, 24 hours in a day. 4 seasons in a year. All these numbers, etc. have one thing in common. They are divisible by the number 4. So what is the mathematical reason.... WHY is time divisible by 4? How is it all related? Was it planned by the gregorians to be divided this evenly, or is this another mathematical universal constant... chew on that for a while.... when you have the time....

Time seems to be something I have more on that I beleive sometimes.... or at least when compared to others... seems everyone is just too busy for me...

I prefer to think of myself as an economical drunk, or a more effeciant drunk... I can accomplish getting drunk more quickly and with less alcohol than your average person... then again, not having my happy pills for the past week, that will make a person more succeptable to the effects of alcohol...

Laxatives for thought.

The early Romans created a 355 day calendar and to keep festivals occurring around the same season each year. Pope Gregory XIII later refined the calendar to what we use today. The Earth's rotation creates about 365.2425 days in a year, so the Gregorian calendar that has been used since the 1500's is inaccurate. The Mayans created a calandar, which ends in 2000 using natural time (or 2012 on about December 21st at 11:11am using Gregorian time). We continue to use Gregorian time because our civilization is founded on it, as well as our technology and would collapse otherwise! :D

Time is a geometrical measurement of circles, thus Pi (3.14...) would be a more educated choice (based on our current position in man's constantly evolving existences) of division.

Being an efficient drunk is highly underrated. I am thankful for my efficiency.
