dustinprewittLets see.... Monday, I found out one of my credit card banks has been harassing my grandmother for my bill... How she got on my account I have no idea.... and they wouldnt take it off unless she went bankrupt or died.... Of course, I called the person up, and using everything I learned about being an evil abusive caller from work, I finaly got them to see it my way and have her name taken off, so she wont be bothered anymore....
The phone was temporarily suspended from making outbound calls the first half of the week... but I suppose not that it matters to you folks.... you never really want me calling you anyway...
My aunt from Texas has moved back to town after a surprising divorice from my uncle... My mother and grandmother, being the baums/harts that they are, of course are being all gossippy and whatnot against my uncle... This may sound somewhat hypocritical, but Id rather not take part in sides... its almost remenescant of my own parents divorice- the bitter references, the attempts by my mother to brainwash me against my dad, etc... My aunts been on death's door for, what, the past 10 years or so? High stress like that prolonged for a long period of time can make people do strange things... We shouldnt judge people so harshly, yet at the same time, we should not be so quick to abandon people... but yes, that's that right there for now...
ah yes... went to Lawrence this weekend.... Passing through Emporia, I was hoping to stop by and visit Ash, but she was busy with a mom's day type thing with her sorority... which was kinda a disappointment, but on the plus side, she should be back in town this week for a thanksgiving break type thing... I also wanted to see my friend Sara, who is currently attending KU, but I had no way to get ahold of her.... ah well.... alostrael and bigbrother2084, with surprise guest cardinalphang, who was in town for a film project.... there was a show at the bottleneck that BB was DJing, featuring fetish troupe Contra Naturum, featuring as a major departure, a fetish oriented burlesque comedy routine, featuring halariously bad puns, jokes, improvs, and impersonations.... fun for all.... an early night, then next morning I spent walking around Lawrence, getting to know the town, hitting a few music and comic shops...
I find myself falling in love with Lawrence... it has everything I need in a city, all compacted in a nice convient easy to use package... and the people.... I actualy feel like I belong as a part of that city.... they people are intellegent, polite, and definitly nothing like in wichita... and there are actualy things I can go out and do there without feeling like everyone is staring at me, looking and scowling at the little creep....
Went back to amy's had a nap, then off to Ministry and Hanzel und Gretyl... saw a few surprise people there to, such asmadprof23 and bondagekitten88 with her boyfriend, and my other friend named Ashley from McPherson.... Hanzel und Gretyl, Ive only heard one song of theirs, and it was this chill-out techno insturmental type piece.... what they played however was heavy metal like mix of Babes in Toyland and Kittie, with a Nazi/Satanic feel to it... definitly a pleasant surprise.....
Ministry was GLORIOUS... they opened up with the first few tracks off their new ablum.... here is the setlist as I remember it...

Jesus Built My Hot Rod
I was really hoping they'd play stigmata, Land of Rape and Honey, Animosity, or Bad Blood, but what they played, they played beautifuly.... managed to sneak a camera in and get a whole roll of film taken.... blah.... my glasses fell to the floor.... while I was lucky to retrieve them and the lenses, one of the screws fell out of the frame.... luckly, one of the bartenders was kind enough to help me duct-tape them up for a makeshift repair.... after the show, there was an afterparty at a place called the gaslight, where I met these two nice ladies, one a photographer, the other... I think her name carol, if Im not mistaken... afterwhich, we went to a modest houseparty, then to bed.... next morning, woke up quite hungover, and spent most of the morning hours hugging the toilet... then trying to find my glasses which were suspiciously missing.... at first I thought that one of Amy's cats had taken them and hidden them somewhere.... but I found them next to the toilet where I placed them before knealing down for a vomitation... lol, the things you forget when you're hungover.... then it was off home again....
This week.... I have thursday off for the holidays, I still get paid for thursday, AND Im getting premium holiday pay on friday.... sweeet.... yes, working at TMobile does require eating alot of shit, but at least they take good care of you for your trouble... friday is payday, and yes, I WILL be buying things on friday, so nnnnyyyyaaaahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
CD Warehouse better have my laibach dvd this week... Im getting impatient...
