oh yeah,,, you couldnt blackball me forever, beee-otch!!!!!!
It wasnt really a big night.... the people running it kinda had high expectations, and had pleanty of promo items lined up, planned a costume contest, etc... it really seemed like more of a private party than anything else... but the important thing is that we all had fun none the less, and I finaly got to be in control of the music again, after almost a year's hiatus.... hope it can blossom into something more, but, well, with the snobby attitude of wichita's older people, and the sheep like mentality of everyone else in the city, Im not holding my breath... but no reason why fun cannot be had in the process....
Sigh.... you know you are desperatly out of shape when DJing knocks the wind out of you/..... I have been gaining far too much weight lately... none of my best cloths fit anymore, and me being the self-conscious insecure person I am, I really dont enjoy looking the way I do.... but then again, depression kinda sucks the enery out of you.... I havnt been eating much, and all Ive been wanting to do lately is sleep... and no, she still hasnt called me back... either because she's out of minutes, the phone is busted, or she doesnt want to talk to me... I suppose it doesnt matter.... they never canhonest or confrontational about these things... No, Im not calling every day, or every five minutes, and no, this isnt someone Ive only known for 15 minutes, or even less than 15 weeks... eh, when you pick up certain bad habits and bad impatience, its hard to get rid of them, especialy when you know you shouldnt be worrying over something as silly as that... blah....
Halloween at work- I get to dress up, and the older folks bring their chillin's for candies... yeeeee! I always loved halloween, and I love giving candy to kids.... Im looking forward to actualy having a house this year, and being able to pass out candy to the neighbors.... sigh, kids and costumes are so cute and fun....
Im thinking about having an open invitational all day sunday... kinda like an open house.... just drop by- Ill be playing halloween themed media such as DVDs, concerts, music, etc.... not really a party, just an all day open house- if your bored, just stop by- Im thinking of officialy commencing about 2 or 3ish- dont want to start too late, people will of course have their own plans for that night....let me know if you're interested
Ah yes, and Shaun of the Dead is Finaly playing in wichita... definitly a must see...
Also playing friday at the historic orpheum is Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho,brenden small's Home movies is out on dvd on about the 16th, and Ministry is playing on 21 nov with thrill kill kult in lawrence. and, well, for the most part, that really is all I have to live for at this given moment... could be better, but could be worse....
